Domaine Joseph Voillot Pommard Le Clos Micault 2022 is a full-bodied Burgundy red wine from the Premier Cru climat of Le Clos Micault in the Pommard appellation of the Côte de Beaune. Domaine Joseph Voillot is a venerable sixth-generation domaine with eight hectares of vines extending across the municipalities of Meursault, Volnay, Pommard and Beaune. This cuvée comes from Le Clos Micault, a walled Pommard 1er Cru vineyard named after Comte Vivant de Micault, who built the Château de Pommard around vineyards formerly cultivated by Cistercian monks. The vines here are 65 years old and planted on shallow soil of Jurassic limestone and white marl.
