Realm Cellars was founded in 2002 by two friends, Juan Mercado and Wendell Laidley. Scott Becker took over in 2012 and the estate is focuses on small-batch, high-quality wines, highlighting the unique characteristics of each vineyard site. This release exemplifies their commitment to artisanal winemaking. Realm Cellars Fidelio 2017 is a Sauvignon Blanc blend sourced from Coombsville AVA in Napa Valley vineyards. The wine is aged in neutral oak, concrete eggs and terracotta amphoras. Each contributing to the texture and complexities of the wine. Fidelio is the name of the only opera that Ludwig van Beethoven composed, first performed in 1805.
