Merchant's description
Rifle Range is Rockford’s 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, named after Rifle Range Road, where many of the vineyards supplying the wine are located. The wine has been part of the Rockford range since the winery’s early years and is made in the same deliberately traditional fashion as the estate’s other reds, with open fermentation, basket pressing and extended maturation in seasoned oak. It is a distinctly Barossa take on Cabernet, favouring richness, softness and ageability over overt new oak.
