Merchant's description

From the same tiny half-hectare parcel of Romanée-Saint-Vivant Grand Cru as its stablemates, Domaine Follin-Arbelet`s 2011 offers Pinot Noir at its most refined. Expect a lighter, more open style than the 2010, with fragrant red cherry, rose petal and spice, silky tannins and gentle mineral lift. 2011 was a charming, earlier-drinking Burgundy vintage, softer and less structured than the years either side of it, making this bottle approachable now rather than one demanding decades of patience. Serve with roast partridge.
