Merchant's description

Rosso di Montalcino Le Chiuse 2023 is a Sangiovese red wine from a renowned Tuscan estate located on the north side of Montalcino. This release is produced from 100% Sangiovese Grosso, sourced from younger vines that are destined for the estate’s Brunello in future years. The wine underwent a shorter maturation period in large Slavonian oak casks to preserve its vibrant primary fruit and energetic character. It offers a bouquet of fresh red cherries, violets and a hint of forest floor, supported by a crisp acidity and fine-grained tannins. It is a transparent and approachable expression of the Le Chiuse terroir, designed to be enjoyed while the estate`s more structured bottlings continue to age.
