Merchant's description
This wine is made from Georgias's indigenous grape variety – Saperavi, which is hand harvested from the Kakheti Region (East Georgia). Wine undergoes 7-10 days of fermentation on skins. Once fermentation is complete, skins are removed from the wine. Saperavi is often compared to Malbec, Cabernet Franc and even Gamay depending on how it is made. In this case we are firmly in Malbec territory – deep, bright and juicy with dark berry flavours. Teliani Valley Winery
