Vieux Château Certan is the flagship Pomerol property of the illustrious Thienpont family and is one of the most respected producers in the appellation. From the excellent 2000 vintage, this is a superb release now only just beginning to hit its stride. Composed of 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, it is full-bodied and powerful yet exhibits exceptional balance and finesse.
