Merchant's description
The 2005 Vieux Château Certan is a marvellous release composed of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. It is full-bodied, powerful and impeccably balanced, offering up wonderful interplay of rich black fruits and savoury notes of truffle, dark chocolate, dried herbs and black olive. Though wonderful to drink now, this should continue to evolve nicely over the next decade.
