Merchant's description
This celebrated grower champagne is a blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir from 50-year-old vines. After the fermentation process, the wine was aged for 10 months in 225 litre barriques. The nose reveals stone fruits, pastry and a touch of smoke. The mousse is opulent, carrying a multi-layered champagne. A firm acidity offsets the wine’s ripeness, leading to a mouth-watering and mineral finish. An impressive vintage with great ageing potential.
