Domaine des Comtes Lafon is a leading wine producer based in Meursault, where it has holdings in some of the most prestigious vineyards. The estate is currently led by fourth-generation family member Dominique Lafon, who inherited the winery from his father René in the mid-1980s. Renowned for its perfumed and smooth-yet-structured Pinot Noirs, Volnay is located between Pommard and Meursault in the Côte de Beaune. Les Santenots is one of the most highly regarded 1er Cru’s within the appellation, in which Comtes Lafon owns a substantial 4ha of vines.
