Domaine Dujac Vosne-Romanée Les Beaux Monts 2009 is a 1er Cru Burgundy Pinot Noir from the Côte de Nuits. The climat of Les Beaux Monts lies above Echézeaux Grand Cru, with a small section crossing the boundary into Echézeaux itself. Dujac is one of the most celebrated names in Burgundy. Domaine Dujac was founded in 1968 by Jacques Seysses, who learned his craft from such Burgundy winemaking luminaries as Aubert de Villaine at Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and Charles Rousseau of Domaine Armand Rousseau. Dujac Pinot Noirs are typically made with wholebunch fermentation, although current winemaker Jeremy Seysses prefers to include destemmed grapes if he feels there is any deficiency in ripeness.
