Vosne-Romanée Les Jachées Bizot 2017 is a village-level red Burgundy from the high-altitude site located above the town of Vosne-Romanée. Winemaker Jean-Yves Bizot is known for his low-intervention approach, including whole-cluster fermentation and zero sulphur additions, which results in a transparent and aromatic wine. This 2017 vintage in Burgundy produced fruit with exceptional aromatic lift, displaying notes of wild strawberries, peonies and damp earth. Despite its village classification, the limited production and distinctive style of the estate make it a highly sought-after bottling. The finish is energetic and saline, reflecting the limestone-heavy soils of the parcel.
