Aalto 2011 is a full-bodied red wine from the Ribera del Duero region, crafted from Tinta del País (Tempranillo) grapes. Established in 1999 by Javier Zaccagnini and Mariano García, the winery utilises old-vine fruit sourced from multiple parcels, some over 80 years old. In this vintage, vinification occurs in temperature-controlled vats followed by ageing in French oak barrels for 16 months, with approximately 50% new oak. This iteration showcases pronounced black fruit, earthy undertones and firm tannins.
