Granbazan Don Alvaro de Bazan 2021 is a notable expression of Albariño from Rías Baixas, crafted entirely from estate-grown grapes in the Finca Tremoedo vineyard of Vilanova de Arousa. The vines, with an average age nearing 40 years, flourish in granitic soils that contribute complexity and minerality. After hand-harvesting, the grapes are subjected to 12 hours of skin contact before fermentation with indigenous yeasts occurs in stainless steel. The wine is then aged on fine lees for an extended period, enhancing its mineral structure.
