Romano Dal Forno Amarone 2010 is a full-bodied red wine from the Amarone della Valpolicella appellation of Veneto, northern Italy. A living legend of Verona winemaking, Romano Dal Forno has been producing showstopping Amarones and Valpolicellas since the early 1980s. A protégé of the great Giuseppe Quintarelli, Romano is renowned for his scrupulously hardworking commitment to his craft, both in the vineyard and the cellar. "Aromas of roses and other flowers with a deep fruit intensity. Full-bodied, dense and ultra-fine with a beautiful texture. Lots of new wood now but this will amalgamate with time into the wine. Fabulous potential." James Suckling, 2015
