Aubert is a boutique estate that produces Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines from single-vineyard sites in Napa Valley and Sonoma. Founded by husband-and-wife Mark and Teresa Aubert in 1999, it is regarded to be one of California’s cult wine labels. The UV-SL Vineyard is named after the legendary vineyard manager, Ulises Valdez, and its location on Stoetz Lane. Only six miles from the Pacific Ocean, the cooling maritime influences are always present, yet balanced by the natural richness of fruit. Full-bodied yet tightly coiled, the 2014 is an intriguing balance of richness and acidity.
