Based in the village of Morey-Saint-Denis, Domaine Robert Groffier is well-known for having some of the most desirable sites in the Côte de Nuits, including a full hectare within Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru ‘Les Amoureuses’. The domaine has been an early adopter of sustainable viticulture and the use of herbicides has been forbidden since 2005. The 2019 Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru is made entirely with whole bunches and matured in one-third new oak. The result is a medium-bodied wine, with mouth-filling tannins and a citrus edge.
