Merchant's description

Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey Bourgogne Chardonnay 2019 is a medium-bodied Burgundy white wine from the Bourgogne appellation. The Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey estate was formed in 2001 when Pierre-Yves Colin and his wife Caroline Morey – both from Burgundy winemaking families – joined forces. Today they produce wines from approximately 13 hectares of vineyards, situated in the villages of Saint-Aubin, Chassagne-Montrachet, Santenay, Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault. "There is still some post-bottling sulphur on the discreetly wooded nose of ripe apple and pear. There is bit more volume and richness to the attractive textured flavours that are not quite as bright as those of the Aligoté, all wrapped in a lingering finish where a touch of warmth emerges." Burghound, 2021
