Merchant's description

Domaine Rossignol-Trapet was founded in 1961 through the marriage of Jacques Rossignol and Mado Trapet. The estate, which is situated in Gevrey-Chambertin, has been managed by brothers Nicolas and David Rossignol since 1990. Their 1999 Chambertin Grand Cru, sourced from two parcels spanning from the lower slope to the hilltop, presents an aromatic profile encompassing red fruit, spices, herbs, and tea. The palate exhibits both generosity and delicacy, offering a more feminine interpretation of Chambertin. Although this Grand Cru from 1999 may seem a bit lighter than expected, it provides a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
