Established by Gaston Hochar in 1930, Château Musar is undoubtedly Lebanon`s top wine estate. Their flagship red is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan, and Cinsault from vineyards in the Bekaa Valley, aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. The 1986 vintage shows a mature, complex profile, with aromas of dried fruit, leather, and earthy notes. The palate is smooth with well-integrated tannins, revealing flavours of dark berries, tobacco, and subtle spice, leading to a long, savoury finish.
