Merchant's description
Wine experts around the world often maintain that this is not only the finest Cheval Blanc of the 20th century but one of the finest clarets of that century too. A blend of 50% Cabernet Franc and 50% Merlot, this legendary cuvée displays a thick consistency and intense nose of fruitcake, chocolate, leather, coffee, and Asian spices. The oily texture and richness of sweet fruit are still remarkable after nearly 75 years since its production. Only 110,000 bottles were made.
