Domaine Drouhin-Laroze was founded in 1850 in the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin and has an enviable portfolio of Premier and Grand Crus in the Côte de Nuits. The domaine’s holdings in Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru consists of the two lieux-dits of “Plante l’Abbé” and “Quartier de Marei Haut” covering a total area of 1 hectare. The 2013 is an excellent medium-term prospect with ripe, fleshy fruit and a long, spice-infused finish.
