Owned by French winemaker Christian Moueix, Dominus Estate spans approximately 124 acres of vineyards in the Napa Valley. Focused on crafting Bordeaux-style wines, the winery is celebrated for its flagship wine, Dominus, which was first produced in 1983. Released in September 2005, the 2002 vintage is a blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc, 4% Petit Verdot and 3% Merlot. On the nose, expect aromas of leather, roasted almonds and blackberries. On the palate, the tannins are integrated with hints of cacao, cinnamon and vanilla.
