Owned by French winemaker Christian Moueix, Dominus Estate spans approximately 124 acres of vineyards in the Napa Valley. Focused on crafting Bordeaux-style wines, the winery is celebrated for its flagship wine, Dominus, which was first produced in 1983. Released in June 2008, the 2006 vintage is a blend of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot. The nose suggests aromas of dark berries, blond tobacco, black cherries, and cacao notes. The palate leads with black fruits and liquorice, complemented by perfectly ripe tannins.
