Established in the 1850s, Domaine Fourrier is a leading Burgundy producer situated in Gevrey-Chambertin, within the Côte de Nuits. Currently helmed by Jean-Marie Fourrier, the fifth-generation proprietor who assumed control of the 10-hectare estate from his father in the mid-1990s, Domaine Fourrier is home to some of the region`s oldest vines. Fourrier is widely recognized for its Premier Cru offerings, such as this cuvée from Clos Saint-Jacques, where it holds a significant plot. The vintage of 1999 was outstanding, and wines from that year are becoming increasingly rare.
