Founded in the 1850s, Domaine Fourrier is a prestigious wine producer based in Gevrey-Chambertin, in the Côte de Nuits. The estate is currently led by Jean-Marie Fourrier, the fifth-generation owner who took over the 10-hectare property from his father in the mid-1990s. Domaine Fourrier boasts some of the oldest vines in Gevrey-Chambertin and is best known for its Premier Cru wines, including this Clos Saint-Jacques. Five producers own vines here and the largest of these plots belongs to Armand Rousseau.
