Based in Gevrey-Chambertin, Domaine Fourrier is a family-owned estate currently run by fifth-generation Jean-Marie Fourrier. Jean-Marie, who took over from his father Jean-Claude in 1994, started his legacy by decreasing the use of oak and adopting a low-intervention approach to winemaking. The estate boasts some of the oldest vines in the region and is best known for its premier cru wines, including this Clos Saint-Jacques. The vineyard was a monopole run by the Comte de Moucheron until 1955 but today a total of 5 producers own parcels here.
