Merchant's description

Jakot Radikon 2010 is an orange wine from Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy, crafted from 100% Friulano grapes. The name Jakot is derived from Tokaj, a nod to historical winemaking practices. Produced by Radikon, a pioneer in natural winemaking, this vintage underwent 3-4 months of skin maceration in large oak vats, utilising spontaneous fermentation. It has spent approximately 40 months ageing in oak barrels, followed by further bottle maturation. The wine displays a golden-yellow hue and offers aromas of dried fruit and nut. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, demonstrating notable acidity and structure.
