The Oslavje Radikon 2010 is an esteemed “orange wine” from Friuli-Venezia Giulia, crafted by the influential natural winemakers at Radikon. This vintage features a blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Sauvignon Blanc, sourced from the estate’s Oslavia vineyards, which are planted in distinctive ponca soils of marl and sandstone. The winemaking process includes an extended skin maceration lasting 3-4 months in oak vats, followed by nearly 40 months in large, old oak barrels. The wine exhibits a striking amber-orange hue, with flavours suggesting dried fruit, citrus peel, and herbal notes, reflecting Radikon`s commitment to natural viticulture.
