Merchant's description

Owned by the Duval-Fleury and Corneau families, Château La Bienfaisance is located in the Fombrauge sector of the Saint-Émilion appellation. The 10.5-hectare vineyard is typical of the Saint-Émilion’s terroir with its clay and limestone soils. This is the 2005 vintage of its grand vin, a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. Expect notes of cherry jam combined with crème de cassis, spring flowers, incense, liquorice and a touch of toast.
