Hailing from the Pomerol appellation of Bordeaux, Château La Conseillante has been managed by the Nicolas family since 1871. The 2009 release is a blend of 81% Merlot and 19% Cabernet Franc. Offering up a bouquet of black fruit, violet, liquorice and fresh almond carrying through to a palate characterised by silky tannins.
