Merchant's description

Lafite Rothschild 2002 is a First Growth Bordeaux from the Pauillac appellation. The blend comprises 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, supplemented by Merlot and a touch of Cabernet Franc. It is aged in 100% new French oak barrels for 18 to 20 months. This vintage captures the quintessence of Lafite Rothschild’s terroir, exhibiting a deep ruby-purple hue. Aromas of blackcurrant, pencil shavings, cedar and tobacco lead to a palate that reveals a structured, medium-bodied profile, showcasing the finesse typical of this historic estate.
