Château Lafleur is widely recognised as one of greatest producers in Pomerol, producing wines of incredible balance, purity and elegance. The estate is rather compact, covering 4.5 hectares of vineyards, with 0.69 hectares dedicated to its second wine, Les Pensées de Lafleur. The 2019 vintage is a blend of 53% Merlot and 47% Cabernet Franc, offering a complex aroma and flavour profile including raspberries, aniseed, kirsch liqueur, liquorice, seaweed, white truffles, violets and sandalwood. The wine was awarded a perfect 100-point score by James Suckling, William Kelley and Jen Dunnuck.
