Merchant's description

Marcassin Marcassin Vineyard Pinot Noir 2002 is a full-bodied red wine sourced from a single estate vineyard on California’s Sonoma Coast. Founded by notable winemaker Helen Turley and viticulturist John Wetlaufer, the Marcassin winery focuses on minimal intervention and low yields. This Pinot Noir is produced exclusively from grapes grown on their 10-acre vineyard, benefiting from the region’s cool maritime climate. Following hand-harvesting, the wine is fermented with native yeasts and aged for approximately 16 months in new French oak barrels. The wine showcases a nuanced profile of dark fruit, earthy notes and a structured finish.
