Masseto 1996 is an excellent wine with a dense ruby colour and violet reflections. The nose is marked by the presence of berry aromas, some liquorice, and also notes of meat, chocolate and tobacco. It’s a full-bodied wine, with soft tannins and a long, caressing finish, showing a very individual profile. Recommended to be consumed now.
