1999 was another excellent vintage for Sassicaia which shows complex aromas of minerals, dark berries, tobacco, and dried flowers. This is a full-bodied wine, with well-integrated tannins and a sharp, refined acidity. The aftertaste has a warm mouthfeel, long and mellow. Drink now with a slow-roasted pork belly or grilled cauliflower steak.
