Clos de la Bussière is a historical premier cru vineyard situated in the Morey-Saint-Denis. It is a monopole of the Roumier family, who purchased it in 1953. The soils here are made up of similar rocky clay limestone as in Les Ruchots, also a premier cru in the appellation. The summer of 1997 presented very favourable conditions during the last stage of the growing season and the wines from that vintage are subsequently very good indeed.
