One of the most famous wine producers in the world, Château Mouton-Rothschild is located in Pauillac, around 30 miles north-west of the city of Bordeaux. The château pioneered the idea of bottling their own wine in the 1920s while other properties were still selling and exporting in barrel. The 2009 vintage has a striking label from Anish Kapoor and is a blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon and 12% Merlot. Expect a very elegant expression that seamlessly combines pure fruit and clean oak in a rich core. Presented here in a magnum bottle.
