Château Mouton Rothschild 2012 is a Pauillac blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc sourced from the estate`s finest gravel terraces. The 2012 vintage on the Left Bank was defined by a late spring and a dry summer that culminated in a compact harvest period where precision in picking was essential to capture the Cabernet at optimal maturity before the October rains. This bottling features the artwork of Miquel Barceló on the label and was matured for 18 months in 100% new French oak. On the palate, the wine displays the characteristic Mouton opulence and exotic spice, offering layers of crème de cassis, graphite and toasted tobacco.
