Clos des Forêts Saint-Georges is a monopole, exclusively owned by Domaine de l`Arlot. The two-hectare vineyard of Clos de l`Arlot red consists of two distinct soil types. the upper section features white oolite soil where young vines are planted, while the lower section contains marl with ostrea acuminata, where some of the old vines grow. Only grapes from the oldest vines contribute to the Clos de l`Arlot red cuvée. Domaine Arlot is known for adopting biodynamic practices since the early 2000s, this wine exemplifies the complexity of a site valued for its well-drained soils and aged vines. With flavours that evolve markedly with time, this vintage showcases the depth typical of Clos des Forets, inviting contemplation on its unique vineyard origins.
