Domaine de L`Arlot Nuits-St-Georges Clos des Fôrets St-Georges 2020 is a 1er Cru Burgundy vineyard from the monopole of Le Clos des Fôrets St-George in the Côte de Nuits. Clos des Fôrets St-Georges is produced from the oldest vines within this monopole vineyard and is typically a dark-fruited and intense wine which reveals its true potential after several years of bottle age. The 2020 is fermented with around 50% whole bunches. Ageing is for 15 months in 50% new oak, followed by three months` resting in tank before bottling. "Markedly earthy aromas include notes of garrigue, poached plum, cassis and a smoky component. The rich, energetic and well-detailed larger-scaled flavours evidence solid muscle and power on the moderately rustic, balanced and complex finale.
