Palafreno Querciabella 2013 is a Chianti Classico sourced from the Cipresso and Marrone vineyards, which have been cultivated organically since 1988 and fully converted to biodynamic practices in 2000. This wine features a blend of Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Colorino grapes. The wine undergoes an élevage of 18 months in 25% new French oak barriques, known for their fine and extra-fine grain. Founded in 1974 by Giovanni Palli, Querciabella emphasises sustainable viticulture and minimal intervention, aiming to express the terroir of the vineyards they cultivate.
