Pangaea 2016 is a full-bodied blended red wine with grapes sourced from wine regions across the globe. Pangaea is the ambitious collaborative project between wine consultant Michel Rolland and South African investor Travis Braithwaite. Billed as a `Wine of the World`, this ultra-premium Bordeaux-style blend uses Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley, Merlot from Bordeaux’s Right Bank, Malbec from the Uco Valley, Cabernet Franc from the Helderberg in Stellenbosch and Petit Verdot from Dehesa del Carrizal in Castilla la Mancha. Production for the Merlot-dominant 2016 expression was limited to 2,570 bottles.
