Established in 1989, Bodegas Remírez de Ganuza emerged as a personal venture of its founder, Fernando Remírez de Ganuza. From the outset, the concept has remained consistent. conducting a meticulous grape selection and intervening minimally in the winemaking process to stay as faithful as possible to both the vintage and the vineyard. This 2012 Gran Reserva is a blend of 90% Tempranillo, 8% Graciano and 2% Viura. While displaying a youthful character, it will benefit from additional aging in the bottle to harmonize the fruit with the still-present tannins. The finish is remarkably persistent.
