Merchant's description

Valduero Gran Reserva 2014 is crafted from meticulously selected grapes from old Tinto Fino vines, situated in high-altitude vineyards renowned for low yields. The wine undergoes alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in 500-litre French oak barrels, utilising native yeasts, followed by four years maturation in diverse oak types and a minimum of 40 months in bottle. With production limited to 10,000 bottles, this vintage reflects the dedication of Bodegas Valduero, a family-owned winery founded in 1984. The wine displays a deep garnet hue and presents aromas of black fruit, subtle spice, and earthy notes with a long, structured finish.
