Merchant's description
Bodegas Sánchez Romate Hermanos has a long and illustrious history of sherry production and was, at one stage, appointed the official supplier of sherry to the House of Lords and the Vatican. Amontillado NPU is part of the redesigned Special Reserves range and is on average about 18 years of age. Starting life as a Fino but later undergoing a period of oxidative ageing, it is dark amber in colour, with notes of dried fruits, hazelnut praline, candied citrus and pipe tobacco.
