Created in 1994 by Manfred and Elaine Krankl, Sine Qua Non is arguably the most famous of all the California cult wineries and is renowned for exceptionally limited quantities of red and white wines made from the classic Rhône Valley varieties. Turn The Whole Thing Upside Down is a blend of 84% Grenache, 11% Syrah and 5% Mourvèdre sourced mostly from the estate Eleven Confessions and Cumulus vineyards, with a small proportion from the Bien Nacido Vineyard.
