Marchesi Antinori Solaia is a full-bodied Cabernet-based red wine from Tuscany and is only produced in exceptional vintages. The Solaia vineyard at 350-400m altitude is based on stony limestone soils and is located in the Tenuta Tignanello estate. "The 1988 Solaia takes things to another level. It has the depth and richness of the best wines of this era, but with a bit more freshness and overall energy. Grilled herb, liquorice and leather accents linger on the fresh, savory finish."
