Château Canon is a Premier Grand Cru Classé ‘B’ estate situated within the Saint-Émilion appellation. The property was acquired in 1996 by the famous fashion house Chanel, who completely revitalized the brand. This is their grand vin from the 1988 vintage, a blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc. Expect and elegant and charming wine, with plenty of tertiary notes, fine tannins and spot-on acidity.
