Originally founded in the 18th century, Château Canon is a Premier Grand Cru Classé ‘B’ estate situated within the Saint-Émilion appellation. In 1996 the property was acquired by the famous fashion house Chanel, who completely revitalized the brand. This is their grand vin from the 1982 vintage, widely considered one of the greatest for Bordeaux. Expect notes of mature dried fruits, sweet pipe tobacco and some herbaceous, leafy greens. The palate offers completely resolved tannins and the finish is lengthy.
